The development and diffusion of different PV (Photovoltaic) technologies has been studied in Germany from the perspective of Functions of innovation systems, as well as the competition between these technologies. In this way important insights have been gained into the dynamics of development and diffusion of different PV technologies, which is important in order to make consistent and sensible policy regarding different PV technologies at the same time. Policy recommendations were also given for the Netherlands.Management of TechnologyDepartment of Technology, Dynamics and Sustainable DevelopmentTechnology, Policy and Managemen
