The reaction systems ScCl3-SbCl5-MeCN-crown ether(L), where L = 6,7,9,10,17,18,20,21-octahydrodibenzo [b,k][1,4,7,10,13,16]hexaoxacyclooctadecine (dibenzo-18-crown-6), 6,7,9,10,12,13,20,21,23,24,26,27-dodecahydrodibenzo[b,n][1,4,7,10,13,16,19,22]octaoxacyclotetracosine (dibenzo-24-crown-8) and 6,7,9,10,12,13.15.16,23,24,26,27,29,30,32,33-hexadecahydrodibenzo[b,q][1,4,7,10,13,16,19,22,25,28]decaoxacyclotriacontine) (dibenzo-30-crown-10), have been investigated.
