This study examined the effects of wage differences on job satisfaction for male and female employees in the Turkish lodging industry. Measures of job satisfaction used in the study were derived from a review of the literature. Logistic regression analysis on data was collected from 397 individuals employed in 5 star hotels showed that male and female employees, at lower income levels report lower satisfaction with respect to Management Conditions, Personal Fulfillment, Using Ability in the Job, and Job Conditions dimensions than their counterparts
