The design of the Badush dam on the Tigris River includes the fish passage facilities. In order to check the performance of the designed fish ladder, the hydraulic model in a scale 1:15 was constructed. As a result of the hydraulic model study, several modifications of the original fish ladder design, which ensure the satisfactory flow conditions along the whole length of the fish ladder, were proposed
