A pseudopotential theory of Auger processes in CdSe quantum dots was presented. Auger multiexciton recombination rates were presented for biexcitons and for triexcitons. Results showed the dependence of Auger electron cooling on size, on correlation effects, and on the presence of a spectator exciton
