Identification and modification of enthusiastic behaviours in physical education teachers

Cette étude comporte deux parties distinctes. Dans la première, l'objectif consiste à identifier les descripteurs comportementaux de l'enthousiasme du professeur d'éducation physique. Les données collectées grâce à la méthode des incidents critiques auprès d'enseignants et d'élèves ont permis d'élaborer et de valider un système d'observation de l'enthousiasme. Dans la seconde partie, trois enseignants en éducation physique en formation ont participé à une expérience visant à modifier leurs comportements enthousiastes. La méthodologie utilisée correspondait à la technique de la ligne de base multiple à travers comportements.This study is divided in two parts. In the first one, the goal was to identify the behavioural descripteurs of the physical education teacher. Data were collected through the critical incidents technique in teachers and students. They were used to develop and validate an observational system of PE teacher enthusiam. In the second part, three pre-service PE teachers were involved in an experience aiming to modify their enthusiastic behaviours.
