Intelligent Homecare Service System

[[abstract]]Tele-homecare service will become a major trend in the booming service sector. In the modern world of advanced medical technologies and pervasive Internet access, the service will increase its importance and variety with the growing population of elders. Hypertension is a common symptom for elders, which is generally ignored by people. Yet it causes major damages to physical health and induces related cardiovascular diseases. Seeing the fact that there hasn't a hypertension treatment expert system in practice, this research tries to develop HYPERTS (abbreviation of Hypertension Expert System) to consolidate the framework and structure of tele-homecare service system for a better homecare service. The research adopts technologies like CLIPS, JESS, and JAVA to construct the websites of HYPERTS and its information service in the hope of giving potential benefits to elders who have hypertension. This is to take good care of elders' health and happiness and achieve the ideal of tele-homecare service.
