[[abstract]]Observation and analysis of casted magnesium alloy AZ61 with aging treatment. The experiment is designed to observe the microstructure of the magnesium alloy after treatment for its strengthened mechanical nature, and understand the best parameters for the aging treatment of magnesium alloy AZ61. Casted magnesium alloy AZ61 contains two phases (α-and β-phase) in its initial state, with α (melting phase) surrounded by β (Mg17A11 separated phase), and the latter distributed strip-level along the grain boundary. Thus, the main purpose of this study is to observe the microstructure and distribution phase of magnesium alloy AZ61 after T6 treatment.
