[[abstract]]Thi s study was conducted by l i t erature analys i s and depth - interview to explore the development phenomenon of Taiwan women's weight lifting event. The purposes were to unders tand the his tory and to di sclose some i ssues of Taiwan women's weight lifting event. We also recommend some projects to improve it and draw a vision of hope. The conclusions as followings: 1. Taiwan women's weight lifting event started from Te-kuang girls senior high school in 1985. Mr. Chen Ku-Feng was the coach and the weightlifter was the track and field athlete, too.
