[[abstract]]This research studies how different generations and genders make aesthetic judgment on female’s figures in illustrations. A 2 (generations) × 2 (genders) × 3 (pornography degree of figure) × 3 (figure age) experiment design was adopted. One hundred and five 40-55 year-old adults and One hundred and thirty five 16-18 year-old adolescents served as participants. The results indicate that the male participants appreciate the high pornographic figures more than the females, and the females appreciate the light and the medium pornographic figures and the mature figures more than the males. The discrepancy of aesthetic responses between males of different generations is larger than the females. The adults tend to make higher judgment...
