[[abstract]]Abstract This thesis presents a drawing research exploring the relationship between the body and space. The study follows the attempt of the author who pursues a more focused viewpoint of creation after years of art practice. By understanding the fact that in the material world, “reality” (in the sense of Zen) keeps changing perpetually, one can inspect things close to actuality. The research proposes a new way of seeing, examines different facets of drawing, and extents possibilities of visual art. Human figures play a center role in the creation part of this thesis; they manifest the uncertainty in time and space.
