[[abstract]]The purpose of the study were to investigate differences in concepts of role stress, counseling self-efficacy and burnout among junior high school counselors of different demographic variables, as well as to explore the relationships among concepts of role stress, counseling self-efficacy and burnout in school counselors. By using stratified random sampling, and according to different sizes of school, a total of 366 school counselors were chosen from junior high schools in Taipei city, Taipei county, and Taoyuan county.
