[[abstract]]This paper reported how to use a learning object management and assembly system, which was embedded in a learning content management system, to help the design of Chinese e-learning materials. That system also provided the repository and sharing-support functions. How to use the system to create assets, to construct SCOs, to use SCO template, to assemble course units, and to export course units to LMS were discussed.
