[[abstract]]The purpose of the study was investigating the influence degree of compliance behaviors for Diabetes Mellitus patients by self-efficacy and social support. Selecting type II Diabetes Mellitus patients as parent sample from a regional teaching hospital in Taipei Hsien by purposive sampling. Data was collected by means of interviewing and questionnaire at one endocrine out–patient department from 28th October, 2003 to 21th November, 2003 , and 154 questionnaire were completed in this study.
