[[abstract]]The main purpose of this study was to research the difference of the style and the dissemination of patriotic songs from 1895 to 1987 in Taiwan(from the Japanese Colonial Period to the Martial Law Period ),and the effect of the patriotic songs which had shaped the national identity of Taiwan people. In order to achieve above purpose,My historical research was used to complete by collecting and analyzing the literature. About the arrangement of the framework,the study states the patriotic song from 1895 to 1987 by the sequence of the period individually,and analyzes the different of national identity that Taiwan people have had with the angle of official and nonofficial discussion.
