peer reviewedThis article is talking about the first french national campaign on mental health. It deals with the conditions which have led this campaign. Beginning in March 2005, it tries to fight against stigmatization of people suffering from psychic disorders. This campaign gathers four different instigators. The purpose of this article is to speak about french socio-political evolutions during the last years. In particular, users and local councillors’implication is sought by public policies, as there is a psychologization of social intervention, with an increased recognition of targeted populations’ needs.
