This research focuses on the difficulties facing the students of tertiary education in the use of spreadsheets, as well as the errors commonly made. The research participants were students of the Technological Institute (T.E.I.) of Larissa, who worked in applications related to Management Information Systems. The students were asked to record the difficulties that they faced in each exercise, before and after the teaching sessions. Their answers were analyzed and they were compared with the results of a questionnaire, and also a test given to them on completion of the curriculum, which aimed at identifying in objective way students' difficulties as well as the errors which they had perpetrated during this test. © Common Ground, Dimitrios Li...
