1984 CGIAR Annual Report

The first annual report of the CGIAR. It begins with a foreword by Chairman S. Shahid Husain, and a brief introduction to the CGIAR, emphasizing its response to the food crisis in Africa. There follow an appraisal of the impact of CGIAR research drawing on the impact study, and highlights of scientific research at the centers during 1984. A section on key events in the CGIAR during 1984 focuses on external reviews of five centers. The report concludes with a section on Group finances, and a set of statistical annexes.
