Collaborative Vegetable Research Network in Southern Africa: A Proposal

Report of a CGIAR Secretariat-led mission to southern Africa in August and September 1989 outlining a proposed network for vegetable research in the SADCC countries. Other team members represented SADCC, AVRDC, and ISNAR. The report was forwarded to the Group by CGIAR Chairman David Hopper, who noted that TAC had not had time to review it. He recommended a regional workshop to establish the broad framework of the network, with subsequent adjustment to conform with TAC recommendations on vegetables research.Agenda document, CGIAR International Centers Week, October - November 1989.
