CGIAR Medium Term Resource Allocation 1994-1998: Analysis and Recommendations

Analysis and recommendation by TAC of the allocation of system resources from 1994 to 1998 as approved by ICW 1993 by the CGIAR. The document includes a summary of the CGIAR discussion at ICW 1993, and a transmittal from the TAC Chairman.The paper itself gives an overview of the medium term planning process and recommendations for system wide core funding. For each center, it provides a summary of the five year program and funding proposal in the medium term plan, TAC's comments, the center response, an evaluation of the response, and TAC's final recommendations.The TAC paper is a culmination of reviews of center MTPs at TAC 59, 60, and 61. TAC agreed at its 62nd meeting that its views were accurately presented.
