Given the unique economic challenges faced in Sub-Saharan Africa, this text proposes a new and practical path for agricultural intensification and market development. The book describes the framework and some initial experiences of a grassroots approach, known as Competitive Agricultural Systems and Enterprises. Divided into three parts, it covers the reference framework itself, CASE facilitation and some detailed examples of agrobusiness development in West Africa
