IPM working for development is a quarterly newsletter which examines the constraints on the implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) control strategies. By raising the profile of IPM, the newsletter hopes to increase the awareness amongst those working in agriculture of other issues which are an integral part of IPM, such as sustainable agriculture, reduction of pollution and human resource development. The newsletter aims to deliver information to promote IPM in primarily non-technical language; to encourage dialogue between all members and groups of the target audience; to stress IPM as an essential component of sustainable agricultural development; examine problems experienced in implementation and to seek solutions; to dissemi...
