The mortality and fertility of farmers and pastoralists in central Mali 1950-1981

Reports results of two demographic sample surveys in central Mali, analysing data which relate to age specific mortality and fertility of Bambara cultivators and Twareg nomadic cattle herders living in the area of the Niger inundation zone.
