Phytoremediation is well established in treatment method to overcome the pollution in water, air and soil. Therefore, the alternative remediation can make cost-effective and green. Nowadays, phytoremediation treatment can use any significant plant either using trees or grassland. The mechanisms such rhizofiltration, phytoextraction, phytostabilization, phytovolatilization and phtodegradation are discussed.
