This paper describes the aims, objectives and current achievements of MLRS (Maltese Language Resource Server), a two-year RTDI project that has been running for just under one year. The overall aim of the project, as suggested by the title, is the provision of such language resources, on a par with those that are available for other languages, together with a framework for their collection, development and maintenance.peer-reviewe
