Talk of research study. Ports, cities and posts caravan: 2016 field season in Somaliland

[ES] Durante la campaña de 2016 en Somalilandia hemos tenido ocasión de estudiar varios yacimientos arqueológicos que transforman significativamente nuestro conocimiento de la historia del Cuerno de África y del comercio índico en general durante los últimos dos milenios. En esta charla daremos a conocer los principales hallazgos efectuados -desde puestos caravaneros a emporios persas, pasando por un santuario prehistórico- y explicaremos de qué manera nos permitirán cambiar algunas de las perspectivas que hasta ahora se tenían sobre los procesos sociales en la costa africana del Océano Índico.[EN] In the 2016 field season in Somaliland, we have had the opportunity to study several archaeological sites that significantly transform our knowledge of the history of the Horn of Africa and the Indian trade in general during the last two millennia. In this talk of research study, we will make known the main findings made -from posts caravan to Persian emporiums, through a prehistoric sanctuary- and explain how they will allow us to change some of the perspectives that so far had on Social processes on the African coast of the Indian Ocean.N
