International audienceGalerkin stochastic finite element methods, when dealing with high stochastic dimension, lead to the resolution of huge systems of equations. Induced calculation costs and memory requirements still limit their use to a low stochastic dimension. Here, we propose a method which tries to overcome these difficulties. This method, based on a generalization of classical spectral decomposition techniques, needs for the resolution of a small set of uncoupled deterministic problems and stochastic equations. It leads to the automatic construction of a reduced deterministic (or stochastic) basis, which is quasi-optimal with respect to the operator and right-hand side of the stochastic problem.Les méthodes éléments finis stochasti...
