International audienceThis paper considers indoor localization based onmultilateration and averaged received signal strength indicator(RSSI). We propose two approaches called three minimumdistances method (TDM) and weight values adjustment method(WAM) to deal with the poor accuracy of distances deducedfrom RSSI. Using a practical localization system, an experimentalchannel model is deduced in order to assess the performanceof the proposed localization algorithms in realistic conditions.Compared to non-linear least squares distance method (NLS),linear least squares (LLS) and projection onto convex sets method(POCS), simulations show that the proposed methods can achievebetter accuracy
