Evolución y ejercicio del texto literario en ASL = Evolution and practice of literary texts in SLA

An intelligent use of the possibilities of literary texts is becoming nowadays more and more accepted in educational circles. Not only the literary text requires a major commitment from the student, but it also provides coherence among activities and the communicative competence of the student in SLA. By including a wide variety of literary text and some specific activities, we boost the grammatical, linguistic and communicative competences of the student on the one hand, and test the linguistic skills of the student on the other. This paper analyses the best options to deal with activities and literary text efficiently while taking into account the short period for lecturersCada vez más se evidencia que un uso inteligente de los textos literarios en clases de lengua extranjera, no sólo garantiza un mayor compromiso por parte del hablante sino que también es sinónimo de coherencia entre materia y enfoque comunicativo para la adquisición de una segunda lengua. Con estos textos, el alumno obtiene por un lado la oportunidad de trabajar sus competencias comunicativas y gramaticales o lingüísticas, y por otro, una excelente herramienta donde poner a prueba sus destrezas lingüísticas. Este artículo plantea el uso de esta herramienta desde un punto de vista racional y equilibrado entre actividades propuestas y variedad de textos y géneros, a partir de la máxima de que el texto literario no ha de servir como mero pretexto para la resolución de ejercicio
