Bienestar subjetivo y satisfacción escolar en la adolescencia

The main objective of this research is to explore the relationship between the subjective well-being and a set of school factors that characterize both the functioning of the classroom and the school, and the academic performance in a sample of adolescents from 12 to 18 years old. All students in our sample come from a public high school in the province of Girona. The data obtained make possible to identify those aspects associated with the school context that play an important role in the subjective well-being and school satisfaction. The results help us to reflect on those educational ideas that could improve students’ well-beingEl objetivo general de esta investigación es explorar las relaciones entre el bienestar subjetivo y un conjunto de variables escolares que caracterizan tanto el funcionamiento del aula y del centro, como el rendimiento académico en una muestra de adolescentes de 12 a 18 años, todos ellos alumnos de un instituto público de la provincia de Girona. Los datos obtenidos posibilitan identificar aquellos aspectos asociados al contexto escolar que tienen un papel importante para el bienestar subjetivo y la satisfacción escolar. A su vez, los resultados del estudio nos ayudan a reflexionar sobre aquellas acciones pedagógicas que pueden mejorar el bienestar de los estudiante
