The purpose with this study is to find out how preschool-teachers use the forest as a teaching environment for children’s development and learning, but also how they bring the outdoors activities back into the indoor-environment. The results of this study are based on semi-struchured interviews I held with 6 preschool-teachers. The results show that the preschool-teachers perform various activities in the forest, influenced by the children. It also shows that the children develop all their senses while they are performing these activities in the forest. The forest also gives the children a reality experience.
