In radar applications, there are often times when one does not only want to know that there is a target that reflecting the out sent signals but also what kind of target that reflecting these signals. This project investigates the possibilities to from raw radar data transform reflected signals and take use of human perception, in particular our hearing, and by a machine learning approach where patterns and characteristics in data are used to answer the earlier mentioned question. More specific the investigation treats two kinds of targets that are fairly comparable namely smaller Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Birds.
