Genealogy of Greek-Macedonian dispute concerning the official name of the country (1991-2013)

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na jeden z největších bilaterálních konfliktů Evropy mezi Makedonskou republikou a Řeckem. Spor spočívá v negativním postoji řeckého státu s ústavním pojmenováním státu Makedonské republiky. Řecko toto pojmenování bere jako krádež své vlastní historické národní identity a žádá jeho změnu. Oba státy se snaží najít kompromis, ale ani jeden z nich nechce opustit ze svých stanovisek.ObhájenoBachelor's thesis is focused on the biggest European bilateral conflict between Macedonia and Greece. This conflict is based on Greece's negative attitude towards naming the Republic of Macedonia. Greece considers naming Macedonia as a theft of Greek national historical identity and demands a change this constitutional name. Both countries are trying to find a compromise, but neither of them wants to leave its own demands
