Práce se zabývá kontaktním problémem pružných těles, řešeném pomocí metody konečných prvků (MKP). Popisuje matematický základ problému, metodu konečných prvků a její aplikaci na problém a následnou implementaci v programovém prostředí MATLAB. Práce se zaměřuje na vhodnou realizaci úlohy ve formě skriptu a ověření jeho funkčnosti.
