Tato práce se zabývá konceptualizací důvěry v rámci sociologické teorie. Reflektuje zejména přístupy dvou významných sociologů, Anthonyho Giddense a Zygmunta Baumana. Popisuje také proces modernizace, v rámci kterého se důvěra transformovala až do dnešní nejisté podoby.
