Aja Baja Bu : Trygghetsbelysning för barn

In this project I’ve worked with the brand Kid´s Concept where their brief were for me to develop an innova ve lamp that would dis nguish itself from their current ligh ng products. Through research and sketching the inten on of the project became to develop lamps that would favour children suff ering from night terrors. The concept is a lamp that sleeps during the day but stays awake at night and fi ghts montsters. Aja Baja Bu is a lamp that helps the child feel safe while the playful expression of the lamp encourages children to interact with it. The two characters are open for imagina on and makes it possible for children to create their own stories about them. During the day Aja Baja Bu will be exhausted from staying up all night and the child must restore its energy by giving it its magical crown or horn. Thus the child will feel connected and gain trust in the characters
