Lika barn leker olika? : En undersökning om och varför Tyskland och Sverige ändrat inställning i sin respektive flyktingpolitik

The result for 2015 showed that the number of people who applied for asylum in the EU in 2015 amounted to 1,321,000 applications. Creating a new, safer life in the EU and Europe's countries is a dream and the wish for millions of refugees wanting away from war, starvation, poverty or other untruthful conditions. In Europe, they hope for a better future and, above all, to live in peaceful countries where human rights are followed. The purpose of this in-depth paper is to investigate and highlight how two of the EU member states (Germany and Sweden) asylum reception has been designed before and after the socalled refugee crisis in 2015. But also investigate whether these countries' national refugee policies have changed since the crisis and what this depends on. The aim is to try to find out how these countries have met the wave of refugees. The reason I chose Germany and Sweden to compare in my essay is because according to the media picture as been highlighted, there is great similarities between these countries, and especially in the matter of taking responsibility and helping refugees.
