The Formation La Morera del Montsant Limestones (medium-upper Lutetian) is constituted by different sort of mudstones deposited in lacustrine and palustrine environment. The different facies associations allow us to obtain multiple low order cycles that suggest complete water level oscillations. The global curve of those cycles reflects a medium order cyclicity and represents the ratio of lacustrine basin subsidence. At the center of the lake the high subsidence episodes can be correlated with the cycles of low frequency and the episodes of low subsidence with the high frequency cycle
