Rancang Bangun Canting Batik Listrik

The problem is often forced by the batik canting is equipment problem. Canting is used to carve wax on the fabric that will be batik. In terms of typical phhysical form can be assessed not perfect and many have failed in USAge. Canting has an important role in producing batik. Application wax with canting tool is a lot to spend. In addition, when using a canting, it should be careful because wrong using will reduce the results to be achieved. Therefore we need canting batik designs that are easier and simpler form. The most important thing is how fluid of wax can flow smoothly and can be stopped if it is not necessary. The purpose of this study is to design canting of batik using electricity to heat up wax in canting. Method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is used to determined alternatives. It resulted that electric batik canting can be chose as alternative. This research provides result that desire of craft men of batik is the wax flow is not jammed and temperature of wax is stable, easier to use, and can improve production performance, durable and wax does not spill as well as the edges of canting are more durable
