Dampak Peristiwa Pemilu Legislatif 2014 Terhadap Perolehan Abnormal Return Di Bursa Efek Indonesia

Indonesian Legislative Election 2014 is an event that occur in national scale that envolve many candidates from many regions of Indonesia. The candidates did the campaign and cost much funds to support their activity. Furthermore Legislative Election can be a trigger of positif or negative sentiment to investor on investing their money in stock exchange and because of that the price of stocks can be uctuative. Abnormal Return is one of several methods that used to examine the impact of event to the capital market. In this research, 30 sample of stocks that listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia the Indonesian Capital Market was used by purposive sampling method. Abnormal Return was calculated from the deviation between Expected Return and Actual Return. Market Adjusted Model method was used for Expected Return. The window period of the research is 31 days. 15 days before event, 15 days after event and the event day. The average Abnormal Return of 30 stocks in in this research compared by T-test before and after the event. The result that the signiï€cant value is 0,150 over than α 0,05% . So we can conclude that the different between before event and after event of the Abnormal Return is not signiï€can different. Indonesian Legislative Election 2014 don't have impact to Abnormal Return that obtained by the investors in Bursa Efek Indonesia
