The following article investigates the policies of Syria and Tunisia regading woman rights in marriage law. This article departs from the reality and the discourse of woman rights in particular in the classical texts that still dominating by masculine perspective, for instances in the cases of divorce, polygamy, etc. This article traces Syria and Tunisia family law reform including the political and geograpichal background, the familiy law development of both two states. The approach that using in this article is comparative perspective. This article expects to be references for genderists, decision maker because Allah teaches humankind egalitarianism between man and woman
