There are many methods in designing control systems. One of them is pole placement method. After mathematical model is obtained, the next step is to determine the system's performances that is wanted. Thus poles location can be determined. And Finally, the values of the state feedback gain and input setting gain can be calculated. This paper explained the control system design using pole placement method, applicated in a dc servomotor plan. After calculation has done the next step was to simulate system's performance with Matlab. From the simulation result could be seen that system's responses match with design criteria.
