This research aimed to describe the guided inquiry model that are effective in improving the inference and mastery of concepts skill in the subject of colloid. The samples of this research were the students of SMAN 1 Seputih Mataram class XI IPA2 and XI IPA3 at even semester year of 2012-2013. This research used quasi experiment method by non equivalent control group design. Effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model measured based on significant n-Gain difference between control class and experiment class.
