Hubungan Pengetahuan Dengan Perilaku Penanganan Dismenore Di SMA Negeri 7 Manado

Abstrack: Introduction adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adult. In teenage girl there is a physical change in reproductive organs changes that characterized by menstruation. Menstruate in some women can cause pain that is called dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea is one of the gynecology issues that most common women experience it in all ages. The incidence of dysmenorrhea in the world is very large. In average, more than 50% women in the world experience it. The method that used in this research is analytic survey method with approach of time cross sectional. The population in this research are 239 peoples. The sampling method using purposive sampling and obtained 66 respondents. The result of this research using Chi Square test with alpha ≤ 0,05. The results, there are 36 (54,45%) of teenage girls with a less knowledge and 33 (50,0%) of teenage girls with a less behavior management of dysmenorrhea. The probability value obtained p = 0,000. The conclusion there is a correlation between knowledge and behavior management of dysmenorrhea in Senior High School 7 Manado. Suggestion for this study can be used as input and information to increase knowledge and behavior management of dysmenorrhea
