The split-path transmission, particularly attractive alternatives to the traditional epicyclic gear transmission of the helicopter, provides two parallel pathways for transmitting torque from the engine to the rotor. The key technical index of the split path designis to equalize the torque in each path as much as possible. Therefore, it is necessary to study the sensitive design parametersaffecting load sharing characteristics.
