Actes du Séminaire archéologique de l’Ouest, (Nantes, mars 2014)International audienceThe question of human and its environment will be approached by way of archaeological set’s studies from two layers identifiied in the ditch of the rural settlement “Les Gains” at Saint-Georges-lès-Baillargeaux. The La Tene D1b-D2a and La Tène D2b’s sets included more than 10 000 animal’s remains representing a total weigt of more than 110 kg. The main domestics’ taxons are present but the cows are the more abundant. The small ruminants complete the meat diet as well as pigs, horses and dogs but in lower proportion.
