Health spending can lead to decrease the ability of the household financial. Nearly 2.3 million people (1%) each year fall to be poor as a impact of catastrophic health spending of high-cost diseases that are life-threatening complications. The aim of the research is to analyze the determinants of catastrophic health spending of Indonesian households in the first year of implementation of the National Health Insurance program (JKN). This study design is cross sectional using secondary data is data Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) 2014.
