Considering Indonesia became one of the countries that joined AFTA, through capacity building embroidery craftsmen will affect the result of embroidery product. If the embroidery products produced more creative, it is not impossible to penetrate International markets more broadly. In the embroidery craftmen empowerment required special strategies to achieve the intended purpose. But the strategy given by Aspendir and Disperindag less achieve maximum results. So that need for a new strategy recommendations to improve or complement the old strategy. By using SWOT, can be formulated on a new strategy for the implementation of empowerment can be maximized
