: Developing the Motor Skills of Preschool Children through Activities of Skill Play. Preschool age children need mentoring people in the surrounding environment to help develop psychosocial and motor skills. This article describes attempts to develop the motor skills of preschool age children by using a model of Skill Play. The study was conducted using pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. 40 subjects were drawn purposively from four kindergartens in Lowokwaru, Malang, East Java. The changes in motor skills were observed using Pre-Screening Developmental Questionnaire. The results demonstrate that there are differences in motor skills before and after the treatment using Skill Play
