Results of research shows that the noisy high-intensity (¥ 85 dB), age (¥ 40 years), and the period of employment (¥ 5 years) is a risk factor occurrence of a decrease in threshold (hearing loss) with a value of each variable is a noisy intensity (OR = 2.527), age (OR = 10.348), and the workplace (OR = 2.344). While the types of protective equipment with a high risk ear (ear plug) is not a risk factor for occurrence of a decrease in threshold values with OR = 0.558. This research suggest the need for adjustment between the noise level with the old system to work through the rolling employees, increased control and discipline in the ear protection equipment, and the distribution of the ear protection equipment should high noisy low intensity in the workplace, so employees who actually have high gain exposure protection hearing and the power reduction is also high.
